Frequently asked questions
If your question isn't here, use the feedback form inside any analysis.
No. Inception doesn't hold, send or exchange money: it only analyzes a transaction or address that already exists on the blockchain and returns a risk verdict. You still receive and move the funds yourself, in your own wallet or exchange.
No. Just paste the hash, the address, or the receipt link. No sign-up, no login.
We don't ask for any personal data to analyze a payment. If you use the feedback form, the email you provide is only used to confirm that your message was sent.
We cover 8 major blockchains: Tron, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain (BSC), Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism. Our official registry tracks over 180 stablecoin and digital currency issuances (such as USDT, USDC, USDS, BRLA, and BRZ) across a database of more than 16,500 mapped tokens and contracts, with real-time on-chain decimal verification and liquidity checks.
Inception's comparison tool audits two receipts or payment intents side-by-side. It verifies whether both operations use the same network, ensures tokens are not counterfeit clones, and verifies that received amounts match agreed values before you deliver goods or services.
You can look up any crypto asset by ticker symbol (e.g., BRLA, USDT, PYUSD) or smart contract address. Inception resolves the asset against audited registries, checking live prices and trading liquidity across centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) exchanges.
Analyzing a single transaction takes a few seconds. Analyzing an address's full history may take a bit longer, with a progress bar tracking it in real time.
It means we found something that deserves extra caution, but not necessarily a confirmed scam, such as a very new address or one without enough history. We recommend double-checking before proceeding.
Yes, for now analyzing a payment on Inception is free. It's worth taking advantage of while that lasts.
Every analysis includes a feedback form. Your note is recorded and used to review and improve our evaluation criteria.
Still unsure? Try it with a real payment or compare two receipts.
